Walsall based Hole in the Wall Curtains wanted to move into ecommerce website design to focus on ready made curtains, curtain poles and bed linen as these would be popular products to set up and sell online. Whilst they wanted their website to look good and be customer friendly they also wanted a admin area that was simple to use.
Being a new addition to an already established Midlands based bricks and mortar retail group the logo design was relatively simple, being developed from the existing corporate logo. With the logo agreed on I set about designing their new ecommerce website to be clean and efficient, providing early designs for their approval.
With the chosen website design I built the website structure and implemented an ecommerce solution. To keep the budget down the client worked on adding in the product data as I fine tuned the web design. I provided onsite training with working on the new websites admin area giving the client control over the content for their new site
The whole project included a Facebook page and Twitter account to promote their new venture as well as a Google Merchants account and search engine promotion.
